What's your opinion on Wolfenstein: ET?

I was thinking of try it, but is it worth it?

The annoying map downloads for every server is just annoying and endless,and I heard some servers hand out viruses, is that true?

I downloaded it, turns out it was version 2.55

nobody online

so i upgraded it to 2.60b, the latest version, and there is still nobody online. It's teh suck :evil:

I tried playing it ages ago, it's a crap FPS. But, for free that's what you expect.

so i upgraded it to 2.60b, the latest version, and there is still nobody online. It's teh suck :evil:

u did something wrong so dont blame the game. there is a bunch of ppl online still playing

and its one of the best fps out rite now

nahh its not free lol..u have to buy a copy of it...its coming on 360,PS3 and PC on August

Yes its a WW2 FPS, but not the realistic kind.

it uses a modified RTCW engine, which is a modified Q3 engine

btw, its an old game by todays standards yet its still in the top 20 most popular, and thats only what xFire logs

and its not so much of a tactical FPS game as it is a Class-based game, since it has a ET twist to the gameplay

if u play ET: Quake Wars, u WILL like this

the moment i DLed it i was hooked i have yet to play any game longer than ET; if 1 server pisses u off, choose from the other 500+

word of advice, dont go to any of the Lost Legion servers, 1 of the files has a gauntlet model that no other server recognizes and will kick u for its use

I love ET:QW... but i have to be in a certain mood. Its a rather complicated multiplayer that requires a lot of thinking, not just something to blah out to and frag sum noobs.

And there are some players who are a little too serious about it. They like to give you abuse if you fail a mission.

Apart from that, its a very fun and well designed game.
