I used to use a 360 controller, cost 55$ for the thing. Then about 3 months later I switched over to KB & mouse, I was good with it but KB & mouse smokes controllers"And i'd been playing halo on xbox since it came out so I was even used to it". So i'd say dont get one you'll be better with KB & mouse once you get used to it.Originally Posted by pker295

I've seen one of the Ads for that stuff on the Banner above the Forums, That has to be one of the most retarded things I've ever seen (The Ad.)Originally Posted by pker295

Generally I would reccomend you stick to the mouse, due to it's much higher stability in accurate shooting...but if you truly want a gamepad, use A Logitech Dual Action. It's definitely difficult to control, but high quality and very fluent.

i use a regular xbox controller, or a recoil E gamepad.
Disagree'd-ed. You have to keep centering the mouse to do a 180 or a 360 turn, unless you have one of those good gamer mouses :roll:Originally Posted by sealsoldier
Unless you have high sensitivity. Turning in a 360 takes 1 swipe for me on medium sensitivity. I have a regular Microsoft IntellimouseOriginally Posted by superzombiemonkey
Controllers are slower and less accurate. I'd rather center the mouse than die constantly.
though keyboards work alot better. the only reason you should get a gamepad is if you have a laptop, because finger mouses SUCK in games

And, No.
I have a laptop, and I use a standard USB Root Hub Mouse on it.
i wouldnt use a gamepad man... the sensitivity on dat thing just kills it. i got a gamepad and it's really hard to aim wit... so i only pwn wit KB and M...
Very true, I've always used a gamepad and it's extremely difficult to aim properly for the precise shot. Makes sniper matches killer.Originally Posted by fireemblem51
