    InGame not working with Vista fix

    ~Admin edit: This stuff is hard coded now so there is no need to edit this file. See Mfive's post on page 8.

    We have a potential fix for InGame not working with Vista in version 1.75.
    To enable the fix for vista do the following.

    1. Start->Run
    2. Enter "notepad %PROGRAMFILES%\Xfire\xfire_games.ini"
    3. Under [-1] section in the file add "InGameFlags=CHECK_VISTA"
    4. Restart Xfire

    Xfire has always supported my games when launched from the desktop in vista (ultimate)

    vista and xfire

    sweet the bug hass been fix, everything is fine, achually the update fixed it, my internet is now fast when xfire is loaded on vista, cool, THANKS TO XFIRE

    My ingame works and i'm running Vista, i jsut occasionally have a problem with whatever i type in the ingame chat also doing stuff in the game.

    Having trouble

    My in game works and I have Vista. But my computer blocks it at start up. I always have to tell it to open it or it does not open. I don't know what to do!

    It would be nice if Xfire fixed this without needing a workaround. All of my other startup programs work fine in Vista, so I don't see why Xfire doesn't yet.

    My ingame didnt work at first but after about a week it worked... i didnt do anything to it and it started working. This was in February so maybe there was a update.. But anways mine works, Vista Home Premium

    still veryyyy slow opening a new internet explorer... i can use fine by going view > profile but starting fresh is very slow

    doesn't work at me.

    closed xfire, added the line to the ini, started xfire, started counter-strike: source over steam, pressed scrolllock-x => nothing happened
