Need help! Are there many CoD 4 MW servers?

I've been playing CoD for way too long and years back at a mall I was way too bored of being dragged about stores with my wife. I made my way to the arcade and jumped on a pc. There they had CoD 4 MW; I gave it a go and fell in love but I've never played it since. I want a new game to play badly and know I like this game already, but is it worth getting? What I mean is, "Do many people play this pc ver. of the game online still?" I really want it for the online multiplay, but if no servers are out there or there are hardly any players then it would not be worth it for me. Can anyone give me information that could help me out here? Much appreciated!

I have to agree, MW1 was the best paced and most atmospheric one.

CoD went **** after the second title. The latest releases starting from MW are ****ing bad and cancer to the videogames industry; There are no good FPS games published anymore since the series popularity started to grow and every new game turned more or less CoD like. *cries*
