Looking for a game

i love rts games, although i cannot remember the name of a specific one. all i can really remember is that it is a medieval RTS featuring castles ect. and it has several different resources, such as stone for walls and more castles, wood, gold, food ect. and that you can make a peasant (or what ever they were called) interact with wishing wells to make more money ect. if anyone knows what game this is or one similar to it, id like to know.

additional info: last time i played it i believe it was around 2001-2002. so it might have come out about that time or before.

hm do you mean "age of mythology"? if not just play it it's a good one

Nah, AoM isn't set in a medieval setting.
Sounds more like Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, but it can also be Knights & Merchants.
