My computer seems to be running unusually slow ever since i made an account on Xfire. Xfire to me is a much very poor version of steam. Xfire is boring too me its just full of show offs, people posting **** i couldnt care less about and vice versa.I've heard a lot about Xfire i was expecting much more. But anyway to the point. Can anyone tell me how I can disable my acc. I really dont want it and I believe its bugging my comp.

You can't disable an account once it's created.
Also, creating an account on a remote service can, in no way, slow down your computer. You're pointing the blame in the wrong direction.

Your xfire acc has nothing to do with your pc, and if the xfire.exe is not running than it can't slow down your pc in any way. Check if you have viruses or other apps that slow down your pc.
Also an option is that you use your windows for too long and it's full of garbage that makes it slow -> delete unused apps or reinstall windows.

I tried that... it won't let me format my DVD drive :S
Windows prevents you from formatting the drive when the OS is in use on it.

lol@Alice running Windows from a drive letter other than C. Good on ya! All those really old viruses which don't use environmental paths to find your system drive will be very sad.
