    CREATIVE WRITING

Poetry, essays, short stories, biographies; If you can write it, post it.

    Rules:
    1. Anything goes. You can be as serious or playful as you want with what you post.
    2. However, if you wish to post content which may not be suitable for minors (ei; sex stories, intensely grotesque material, etc...), you must place some sort of content warning at the top of the post. Even then, if the post fails to adhere to Xfire's forum rules, it may be deleted. So use caution.
    3. You needn't be a master of English in order to participate. If you can get your point across, then everything should be fine.
    4. Don't discourage others from posting by bashing their mistakes. If someone is making mistakes, you can inform them, but don't troll them for it.
    5. I bet 90% of you didn't even read these rules.
    6. Constructive criticism of work is permitted so long as the individual being criticized is open to it.
    7. Avoid making multiple posts for one piece of work. If your work is too long to fit inside a post, you are encouraged to provide the first paragraph of the work, then place a link to the full work for those who are interested in reading further.
    8. Even if you have nothing to contribute to the thread, feel free to comment on other user's work.
    9. No other rules come to mind at this moment, so just use common sense (if you have any trolololol).

I'll start things off with my little story, The Cold Blue Deep, which I was required to write during my Highschool Senior year.

I started off well with it, but toward the end of the story, I was running short on time, so I had to quickly throw in an ending or risk turning in an incomplete story. So yes, I already know the ending sucks. lol.

    Enjoy.

Warning: 16,100 characters. Can you handle it?

The Cold Blue Deep By: James Jackson

With the advent of faster-than-light (FTL) travel, space exploration had become a realization. The technology sprouted many pioneers willing to search the stars for earth-like planets. Allan was your typical space-pioneer. He was born and raised at Rikovschki Space Station in orbit around Mars. His parents were among the first to colonize the station, and had helped expand the station’s districts by more than three hundred kilometers. The station was like a blanket in orbit around Mars. On some days, you could see the shadow of the station on the clouds of Mars. Allan had been partnering up with other pioneers and had built up a large team of forty-nine. With direct approval of the counsel, he had chartered a space ship to take his team to survey Europa for microorganisms living in the ice, and to prospect possible terraforming operations. Sounds interesting, but anything I could contribute would number in the hundreds of pages and likely be better presented as a wiki than a story. So I'm just going to sit back for a while.

I used to use my xfire blog for this kind of thing. My writings are still there.

I hate election season. Every other radio/internet advertisement:
"Did you know Obama kills kittens?!"
"Well Romney wants to poison our water supply! Obama 2012!!"

There once was a little Dutch boy. He was once walking along when he saw a leaky dyke. He stuck his fingure into the hole of this leaky Dyke. He stayed there all night long with his fingure firmley wedged into this big leaky dyke. In the morning the town's village people awoke to find this little boy dead with his fingure inside a dyke.

Hangon, thats a true story ? wtf...

So if someone tells you to go stick your finger in a dyke, they're actually asking you to perform an act of heroism. Interesting.

    RE: Creative Writing Thread

Long time ago, up to ten years ago rising from the ground came a cow. Not an ordinary cow, but this cow was known as 'Captain Cak Cow'. One of the most greatest, bravest Cow in the world. For his brain had been scientifically replaced by an alien's brain which had been found in Antarctica. Even though he didn't speak he would dig super fast and help those in need by springing underground to those who call him.

But there was one man, Peter Piper Parker, who was jealous of Captain Cak Cow's alien brain for he should have been given the brain after paying the government $10 million, but he was so dumb he didn't receive a receipt of the purchase and after paying the government. Meanwhile the government had other ideas to help humanity by giving it to a cow to help the world from its troubles.

Peter Piper Parker had no proof that the brain should be given to him and he had lost his money. Peter Piper Parker is now a broke man who thinks he had deserved the brain, which was meant to be heavily modified to make him smarter and be able to build the most destructive weapons, which could have been able to give him the leadership role by threatening the existence of the whole World. Only problem was he wasn't as smart as the Cow but always tried to capture him and take the brain.

To this day he still tries to capture him but is dramatically failing, and Captain Cak Cow is still a hero to humanity saving lives each day. Spending most of his time in a secret farm, undercover as an ordinary cow, eating grass and pooping.

Just made it all up in 10 minutes. I hate creative writing. I think its good but others always think its crap, even the dumb **** teachers who cant teach me english and writing and grammar properly.!
