GTA IV User Tracks Not Working

Hi there,
I recently purchased GTA IV and put selected tracks of mine into the music folder. It's C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\User Music. There was a file in the folder when i visited it first time called "cpuinfo". I started up GTA IV, donewhat needed to be done and then in the Audio tab, I set the radio station to Independence FM, Independence FM Mode to Sequential, Auto Scan to On and clicked on Complete Scan. This did not work and all I got were commercials. I tried different options such as turning off the Auto Scan, but to no avail. Am I missing something?
