Call of Duty; Modern Warfare 3
Modern Warfare is back. The epic sequel to the multiple Game of the Year award winner Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 returns on November 8th
Call of Duty; Modern Warfare 3
From all the information floating around on the internet and on trailers, the Modern Warfare 3 battlefield will take place in four locations, France, Germany, England and America. Presumably you will play several different characters from the army of each country such as the Navy Seals in American missions or the French Guard in the French missions and of course, the S.A.S in England missions. This should provide a good variety of guns, terrain and keep the storyline interesting. As far as we can tell, this is going to be a smash hit, but will it be good enough to beat the upcoming Battlefield 3 for title of supreme FPS? Only time will tell.
Read below for all the current information circling the internet about Modern Warfare 3, including trailers, teasers and release dates.
Not another 'clone'
According to Robert Bowling whom recently took to Twitter to ensure the fans of the game that the developer has “moved beyond the MW2 engine”. Although Bowling, didn’t have any official details to spill on the enhancements to the engine, he did note that they have added a lot of “cool stuff” for Modern Warfare 3. What this could mean is some decent DX11 features or possibly even servers, though we won't know for sure until the game is released.
Who's making the next Call of Duty game?
The huge success the Call of Duty franchise has seen Activision pumping new games out at a rate of a new game each year. 2011 meets the next sequel with Modern Warfare 3, the years most anticipated game. This time though they’re making the game a tad differently. The ever popular game developer, Infinity Ward will be making the single player component of the game, alongside Sledgehammer Game. The games multiplayer aspect, which is considered by many to be the biggest selling point the Call of Duty franchise has to offer, will be developed by Raven Software. It will be interesting to see what they do with the game in order to have it compete against the upcoming Battlefield 3.
When will Modern Warfare 3 be released?
8th of November, 2011.

Would be nice if MW3 was detected by xFire... It's not in my list of games... or am I just blind?

I saw a commercial for it, and thought it was just more advertising for MW2. Then I realized it had been a few years, and that a third game had been announced, so I sort of assumed that it had come and gone, and that I was seeing an ad for the fourth installment.
Finally, I realized that I had indeed watched an endorsement for the third Modern Warfare game. Unfortunately, as this is likely a carbon copy of both its predecessor and inevitable sequel, my first two guesses were also correct. Oh well.

The main reason I don't like MW3 is just the maps. I'm fine with the guns and everything else. Wish the had larger maps, or more space for us to climb. Even black ops had more places for you to go in a map. Other than that I play the game and enjoy it.
