Does anyone actually play 2142 anymore? I haven't played for around 2 yrs cause of pc problems but no i can but not sure if i should play.

ppl still play it.I dont have problem to find full servers.If you want to play it patch it up to 1.51 which has northern strike expansion for free.

hmm, I don't know about that lilliet but 2142 was in a very critical state the last time I checked and it was today. For example for a player like me that oly likes playing in Northern Strike Servers I am ****ed cause theres no NS server anymore. to be honest right now I just checked and there are only 4 servers with people in them, not full but at least 12 to 24. The rest are European servers and such. I'm telling you I am very sad cause it is my favorite battlefield game.

I'm sad to see this game become so unpopular. I've put about 800 hours into the game. And now it seems like most servers are 24-32 and half full. I recall back in the when there where lots of 64 player servers and most of them where packed full. I really missed those days. I loved the chaos of the 64 player servers, wished they could of gone up to 120+ players. This was my favorite multi-player game of all time. T_T

If EA would've put their ego aside and give that game to steam like they did with BF2, BF2142 would've been populated like crazy. No other pc community has more users than steam. You want to save a game from dying? swing it to steam. That community will keep it alive for ages. Love steam users.

Maybe you should try Nuclear Down its pretty cool game.There aint wehicles but it reminds me Battlefield 2142 kinda + there is strately involved in that game( commander build stuff,have artilery).For me it is the most surpricing Fps game of the year and i liek it much beter than battlefied 3(beter gameplay and team play)

PS: if you like star wars(talking about 2142 game) there is new mod of First strike.It is awesome.
