This is the day of reckoning. The day that the 3rd Infantry Division
earned their nickname "Rock of the Marne" by holding off a German
assault while the French were fleeing. This is the day that French
troops rallied around the courage of the 3rdID to hold off the last
German offensive of the war. This is the day where the 3rdID earns its
valor, respect, and honor. This is the day that we shall remember...
We are the 3rd Infantry Division. We are a tactical realism unit that
operates in the same manner as the United States Army unit based out of
Ft. Stewart in Georgia. We run our day-to-day operations as closely as
possible to the actual US Army. From Basic Training to Occupational
Schools, to promotions, specialty schools, and staff positions, the 3rd
Infantry Division has many opportunities in which you can become
involved. We are currently consisted of America's Army-based gamers. We
are looking for DEDICATED people who are ACTIVE and at least 15 years of
age. 14JULY1918 established for us a sense of honor that we live up to
through courage, respect and professionalism. If you would like to be
part of unit with such a historic background, structural system, and an
actual chain-of command, then the 3rd Infantry Division should be your
new home.
Enlisting and Becoming a Soldier in the 3rd Infantry Division
Enlistment is your first step toward becoming a soldier in the 3rd
Infantry Division. The process starts by visiting our website
3rd Infantry Division,
signing up for our forums, and posting an application in the Enlistment
Office. After that, you will be guided through the process by our RRO
staff until you become one of us. One of the best parts about this unit
is that we understand you have a life to live. We do require some
activity, but that activity can be shown in many ways. Once you are a
soldier in the 3rdID, you'll be put to the test. We fight in TWL, Scrims
weekly, and sometimes Daily!
*Before enlisting with the 3rd Infantry Division, make sure you fit
the requirements:
-Must commit to this unit ONLY!
-Must be at least 15 years old to join Active Duty
-Must Have Xfire and Teamspeak 3 with a Working Microphone
-Must Be Able To Follow Commands
What we have to offer!
-TWL competition, and VERY frequent scrims
-A rank structure as closest to the U.S. Army's as possible
-Positions, Jobs, and Roles within the clan
-FULL Inner-clan Operations
-Scenario's are developed. Maps are chosen to represent them
-Platoons face against each other, one acting as Opfor, the other as US
Army
-Platoon/Squad/Fireteam Drills. Where tactics and strategy are developed
and practiced.
-Promotions, Ribbons, Medals (Medals can be earned by regular pubbing,
regular scrim. Different awards and Medals for TWL)
-4 servers, one honor for pub play. One non for 1st Platoon, 1 for 2nd
Platoon, and a dedicated TWL/CEVO server!
We like to have lots of fun, Pub a lot, scrim a lot, and are very
active. You can be apart of this, everything listed above, and MORE!
