Social Network Manager issues
We're aware that our Social Network Manager in the Xfire client is out-dated.
As this has been in Alpha Stage since before the buyout, we know a lot of work needs to be done in order to make the SNM fully usable again.
We plan to address and fix a lot of issues in the SNM, and improve the service overall.
We've also been taking your feedback on new protocols to support.
Here are some problems you may encounter when using the SNM:
- Twitter and other protocols have updated since our last client update, rendering the service semi-unusable or completely unusable.
- Incorrect password, even though you type the correct login information.
- Unable to login until having tried a handful of times. (Disconnected from <social network manager>)
- @ymail.com accounts are not supported (only @yahoo.com)
- A few more...
We will be pleased to announce when the SNM comes out of Alpha stage, and into Beta or full production.
Just know that we are addressing all of these issues, and will be working hard to start fixing them in our very first client update since the buyout.
