There is no MoHMPUpdater.exe with Steams version of MoH
Xfire, please fix this.
Our executable in Steam is "mohmpgame.exe"
I will not argue like last time, if you need screenshots i'll post them.

Right behind you on this. Everyone in my clan who got it via Steam cannot get the game to detect. We've tried manually entering it, but it will not work. Everyone else is fine.

To fix this in win 7 go to c:\programdata\xfire and edit the xfiregames.ini to this

This is located at the very bottom of the ini. All that is being changed is your replacing MoHMPUpdater.exe to mohmpgame.exe
Then select manual. The game files are in steam\steamapps\common\medalofhornor\mp for the mohmpgame.exe and steam\steamapps\common\medalofhornor\binaries for moh.exe
Then restart xfire and it works.
I am with windows vista...... And i would love to broadcast some Singleplayer action , i bought my game with steam so no fix for me, please help.....

it would work if i had a binaries folder but i figured it out had to install the singleplayer to get the binaries folder but it is good to go now Thanks Kasper
I bitched about this in the beta several times as well but they apparently don't read the forum or are clueless that Steam works differently. It's a pain in the ass to change it with every release. I finally did a search on the updater and found this thread in addition to mine.
Edit... Replacing those doesn't work for me. I did that with the beta to get it working and to get it working in MP for the final game (using the beta) but updating the 6300_1 and 6300_2 still doesn't find it for me. I ended up going into Tools -> Options -> Games -> Not Installed and selected Medal of Honor and chose my install directories under Steam. The single player game is installed under <steam install>\steamapps\common\medal of honor\Binaries\moh.exe and MP is under <steam install>\steamapps\common\medal of honor\MP\mohmpgame.exe.
Back up the ini file because who knows when they'll finally listen to the Steam problem since I posted in July @ http://www.xfire.com/forums/182627/topic/2037965/ ... and they didn't care.
I've been using Steam for all my games and really starting to wonder if xFire is worth the trouble.

Well I've managed to get xfire to detect the game using the method mentioned in this thread. While MOH is now showing as installed in the list, I still cant view / add / join any MOH servers via xfire. Any advice on how I can?
It may be xfire_games, if you dont have show common file extensions clicked in you windows folder options.
I dont have the xfire_games.ini or xfire_game..... in the Xfire folder wich is the main thing to fix our problems..... What can i do ? because if i try to install it by xfire/option/games/not installed, i need to modify the mohupdater.exe by moh.exe because now its looking for a file that doesn'T even exist
Ah I got it now thanks.. You need to manually go to c:\ProgramData\Xfire by typing it in (in windows explorer)there's the xfire_games.ini file!
Then you can change those Medal of Honor bits to :

Make sure you then save the xfire_games.ini file.
After that, go into xfire and manually detect Medal of Honor. You can find now find the mohmpgame.exe file in c:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\medal of honor\MP\
and the moh.exe file in c:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\medal of honor\Binaries\
Restart xfire and it SHOULD work! It does detect your game now, although I still can't use xfire in-game

I tried everything listed in this thread but can't get MoH to detect. When I try to manual detect it's still looking for mohmpupdater.exe and I don't see anywhere to make it look for the moh.exe or mohmpgame.exe.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice and am using the updated .ini that came out tonight.
Any help would be appreciated.

the above fix messes things up a little tho and is kinda pointless, i feal xfire have let us steam gamers down here, you cannot even add a favourite server in xfire for this game its pathetic realy!
The people behind xfire surely knew this game would need adding......

Yes I have, still no luck.
I have to say i have tried to do this and i cant get it to work either.
Same with Civ 5, i have that in steam and it wont be seen by xifre as anything other then dx9
