Guild Wars Turns 5

Well it's hard to believe so much time has passed, but Guild Wars actually made it to five years.

Clearly most of the players now started playing along the way. I don't play as much now myself, but I would think it's a healthy game (meaning lots of people still play)

Figured Id make a topic and see the age of your oldest Character.
I got two turning 5, a 3rd this summer, about 2,800 hours ingame total.
Id say for 5 years I didn't over do it

Well I guess id say Cheers to GW, hopefully it stays around for a while longer for those who still play, meanwhile looking forward to GW2 in hopes it exceeds the original.

I've played in total 1,731 hours over 52 months.

5th year with my Glutos Maximus this Christmas Eve.

20 hours lol, yeah just started playing Guild Wars, got Trilogy off steam for half a price and i really like the game, will be playing it looking forward to Guild Wars 2

Lol, I'm new to GW and XFire, but my oldest GW toon is about 2 weeks old, no clue on the hours. I'm enjoying the change from Aion though.

Is anyone around here looking forward to GW2? Looks like it will be pretty cool.

Im telling you ( i hope i'm wrong),everyone will have the face that ppl made when they saw wow's expansion TBC.Everybody was eager to play it,when they saw what it has to offer they begged for vanilla.I know GW 2 is not an expansion,but still.And again,i hope i'm wrong.

I can't wait until GW2 comes out. It's been a long time since they started talking about it and they keep on delaying the release date. I guess it's to make everything perfect before they actually release it. I hope that all of the waiting and anticipation for GW2 is worth it.

Nope. Still waiting to see when it's coming out and what other classes will be implemented in it.

Sorry to hear that man. Well, at least it's not a sub game so you can take your time saving up money to get some upgrades on your com or get a new one. The way things have gone now it can actually be cheaper to buy a new pre-built one from wal-mart sometimes than upgrading an old one.

I've got a jack-of-no-trades ranger turning 5 in september.
it's the first one I made, sentimentality and all that.
and my main squeeze nuker is turning 3 in about two weeks.

my others are just no-name farmers and pvp

also, GW2 is worth the wait.
so NCsoft should take all the time they need.
