I like it because it's a pretty cool game, a bit more realistic than BF2. Just because it's a recruitment tool doesn't obligate you to ever join the military. It also reminds me of the time when I really served in the US Army.

Why do you watch TV? Kind of odd you'd allow yourself to be subjected to corporate advertisement all day long. Don't see how you could allow yourself to be subjected to that kind of crap.

I think AA 2.8 was a way better game than AA3. Source engine was a lot better than this unreal engine in any aspect. But, thats not the question. The question is why do people play AA3? well, why not? Its free and just about any pc can play it. But to compare it to anything else like BF2 is just dumb I thik. You can't compare the fun you have in battlefeld games to AA3. You might say oh but it's more realistic. I say Insurgency is way the heck a lot more realistic and harder to play than AA3 but thats not the point. The point is to know how far you can take a game without loosing the fun in it. Too much realizem you lose fun, too much fun you lose realizem. But, at the end of the day Fun will always win over realizem. if you don't think its true....explain how 1942 has 3 times the people AA3 has playing it and it is an old game?

The question is OP, why would someone think like you, why would someone look like that at the game and have that view, that's wrong lol.

1) Game looks sweet.
2) Game is realistic.
3) Game is free.
4) Game doesn't got ads popping up or anything so you can't say it forces you to join the army.
5) Game has army related stories in the menu and so on and you can join if you want, that's in AA2 in aa3 they're not as common.
6) Use your brain, most that play it are from Europe so it's not like they can do anything but just be persuaded maybe to follow an army way as they grow, for their own country cuz i doubt they'd move to america when they hit 18 just to join the army.
