    RE: Xfire video?

    Hello lostbullet51,

Your video is initially recorded in the .AVI format. It will be uncompressed. When you choose to upload it, Xfire compresses it to the .MP4 format which will be much smaller (a copy is made so you should have .AVI AND .MP4 versions now).

If you have trouble uploading it or encoding it, try using the xfencoder.exe file in your Xfire installation folder (C:\Program Files\Xfire).

If you're running Windows XP your videos are saved to C:\Program Files\Xfire\videos.

If you're running Windows Vista or Windows 7, your videos are saved to C:\programdata\Xfire\videos. (NOT Program Files)

If you're unable to see the programdata folder, you may need to set your hidden files to visible:

To make hidden files visible in Vista:
    1. Open a folder (pick one).
    2. Click on 'Organize'.
    3. Click on Folders and Search Options.
    4. Click on the 'View' tab.
    5. Go down to the 'Hidden Files and Folders' category.
    6. Select 'Show Hidden Files and Folders'.
    7. Click Apply, then OK.

Let us know if this helps.

    RE: Xfire video?

I missed an important detail from your original post. You said you set Xfire to save videos to your desktop. If you did that, it should appear on your desktop and NOT in the C:\programdata\Xfire\videos folder.

But you also say it's not on your desktop. It must have been deleted somehow. But you can't upload a video that's been deleted. You should try recording another video to see if it appears on your desktop.

Also go to Tools | Options | Video in Xfire. What does the file path say? Post it here.

What is your Video Capture keybinding set to? (Scroll Lock + V is default)

Do your other Xfire in Game functions work in Alliance of Valiant Arms? Try opening the Xfire in Game chat window (Scroll Lock + X) - does it work?

    Thanks!

    Xfire video missing options ?

When i click on the video, the video upload mirror opens but there is nothing in it, only the closing button and the x bottom in the top corner, does anyone know how to fix this ?
