    Fair??

I also never had problems with Vista and Xfire...
maybe their computer just can't handle vista, xfire and the game ...

Why can't those ppl just not use xfire till the problem is solved?

Aww I never had any problem with Xfire and Vista.. Wonder why it won't work in Flyff, means I can't play for hours and talk to my friends other than the voice chat..

Meh, Vista sux, and i should'nt help anione using it but... im such a caritative soul i will do it aniways.

Here's how to re-enable your deactivated games:
    1)Go to your xfire folder.
2)Open xfire_games.ini in your favorite plain text editor.
3)Use the search function to look for your game (usually binded as ctrl+f)
4)Look for the InGameFlag named "DISABLE_FOR_VISTA" and remove it.
5)Repeat for any other game deactivated for Vista that you might use.
6)Save the file, exit and start using X-Fire.

Hope it helps, but aniways... please guys, there are MANY operative systems out there; great operative systems (namely linux, freebsd or, if your a gamer, the mighty windows xp) but Vista?? What the hell is Vista?

If everyone was like that we would be using windows 98. no virus no problems. XP had more problems that Vista when it came out, it's a natural reaction from Humans we don't like getting out of the routine and the "old" is always better than the "new", at least for the first times

I was using vista and tf2 fairly well quite some time ago. Not being able to use it AT ALL is very annoying tbh. TF2 is certainly not the best game to Alt-tab out of and thats takes time anyway.

1)Wrong, XP did NOT have bundle DRM (digital restrictions management), it was only a small fraction of vista's price and most computers with 98 could upgrade directly to XP with small to none of those hardware upgrades such as the need of a new motherboard (so you can actually use that new dx 10 cards and DDR 2/3 Ram sticks)...

And many more things that have no realistic point of comparission.

    2)98 had viruses too.

3)Who said i am rejecting progress? YOU are rejecting progress in ignoring UNIX, linux and other open source OSes, not me. Just because you actually paid for a shinny cardboard box and a license number does not make vista better for everyone.

Yet they use different version of the Source engine.
