I'm a fan of both "Knights of the Old Republic" games without a doubt but this "The Old Republic" I'm not so sure about!

Ok I'm sure that SWTOR is gonna be a great game but I think they should complete the story they started... the story I'm waiting for already 5 years!

Oh, I totally agree.

Still, we're not going to get it. At least, not in the form we were expecting. That in mind, I have embraced what we ARE going to get- a KOTOR mmorpg.

I want a singleplayer KotoR3. Not something Im gonna be paying 10 quid a month for to play with loads of 12 year olds, which I can't play if my internets not up and enjoy the world to myself, feeling that I'm one of a kind not jsut some other Jedi whos doing the same thing as everyone else.

For those apparently upset about this not being a solo-player game:

You do realize that roughly 90% of the entire game will be solo-able, right? Some missions and quests will require you to be in a group, but the majority of the game will be able to be played alone, of you so choose to play that way.

Depending on the interface, style of play, and cost, I might play this game. Then again, I might not. If the interface is too confusing, I won't play. If the style is too much like WoW, I won't play. If it's too much, I won't play.

If the game doesn't phail those 3 standards, I'll be more than happy to develop a strong case of carpal tunnel with this game

So why do we HAVE to play it as an MMO? Also I can still imagine being drawn into the story, getting into the game and then some kid running across my screen like 'Lolzzlolol glow stikz'.

I never thought of this, I just assumed it would be like the other KOTOR's, but it won't, geez...now I can imagine buttons all over my screen :evil:

The problem is, I will buy this game, and play it, I don't want to miss out on KOTOR since I own them all so far and I love the games, I know plenty of people who will be palying this also, but still, it feels like your back has been pushed against the wall with this one.

I feel your pain on that. Yes, it's definitely like our backs are against the wall on this. If we want to play new KOTOR content, it *has* to be this game.

I'm 90% confident it won't suck.

Reminds me of Clone Wars movie, I hope that Hutt hasn't lost his son or anything... :roll:

I'm still waiting to hear more about this one, but I already know I will buy it just for the storyline, hopefully they won't forget that aspect, being Bioware though, I doubt they will.

Yeah same here I'll be getting it but I'm just hoping that it is not "Pay To Play" because if it is then forget it and as for the storyline I know it will be true to the source!
